Net sales of $7.0 billion, +20.7% year over year. Comparable sales delivered a solid 9.7% growth.

E-commerce net sales rose 26% year over year, with penetration expanding to 55% of total sales – a gain of more than 239 basis points versus the same quarter last year, cementing its role as the primary growth engine.

Sam's Club continued its strong trajectory, adding 11 new stores over the trailing twelve months (including 4 in the current quarter). Meanwhile, Walmart Store operations also accelerated, with both formats advancing in tandem and overall performance steadily rising.

Gross margin improved during the quarter, driven by ongoing category mix optimization and higher private-brand penetration. At the same time, robust top-line growth effectively offset incremental labor and marketing investments, keeping the operating expense ratio stable and supporting healthy operating profit growth.
